The red petals develop a dark pink stripe with pale pink edging. It is a fall foliage type and have similar cold hardiness to Lycoris Radiata (zones 6-10). Grow in cool greenhouses, outdoors in warmer areas where little or no frost is experienced.
Spider Lily from Japan. Spring foliage. Grows well in warm climates. Its natural habitat is the moist, wooded slopes of China. Best grown in containers in a conservatory or cool greenhouse. Plant with the top of the neck just below soil level.
