Superb garden plants ideal in shade and much used in landscaping. Plant out in Spring,with the new shoots just level or slightly showing above the prepared soil.Water in well.Hostas need a moist,fertile soil with some shade and shelter from wind.Feed regularly.Protect pot-grown plants from frost.Remove protection from crown before new growth appears.Mulch in summer to conserve moisture and do not allow to dry out.Water at roots avoiding the leaves.
