( Worsleya rayneri / Worsleya procera ). This evergreen blue Amaryllis is a stunner and indeed very rarely seen on sale. Height two to tree feet tall with sickle shaped leaves. Flowers about eight in a plant and are about six inches wide.Summer flowering.
Compost: Good mediums would be lava rock and grits, pumice, or other porous rock, about 6-10 mm in size. For moisture retention we grown add small amount of leaf compost, coconut husks or peat. They prefer open sunny places ( with afternoon shade in sunny warm places) and water them one a day .
