Very attractive small flowered species with reddish blotches at the base of the petals. April. Height 8″ (20cm).
Trilliums are ideal plants for shady places, especially amongst deciduous trees. They like cool moist growing condition, with good drainage and plenty of leaf mould. They will grow well in a peat bed. Once planted they are best left undisturbed and they will gradually build up into large clumps.
