Nerine bowdenii (the original species of which, together with its varieties we offer in the Spring) is frost hardy and can be planted in a sunny, well-drained spot outdoors, ideally against a south facing wall. The remaining sarniensis types listed below are tender but may be worth trying outside in very mild parts of the UK; elsewhere they are recommended for a cool greenhouse or conservatory, planted singly in 10 or 12cm pots of very gritty, free-draining compost. Autumn Flowering. Height 45-60cm.
