Commonly called slipper orchids splendid plants to grow in the garden, usually flowering in late spring or early summer.
Plant in a cool, shady place in the garden in compost comprising of equal parts of peat, leaf mould and loam mixed with gritty sand.
May take a year to establish but well worth waiting for.
