Commonly called ‘Slipper Orchids’. Splendid plants to grow in the garden, usually flowering in late Spring or early Summmer. Plant in a cool, shady place. The result of a cross between a very vigorous North American species C. kentuckiense and the Asian species C. macranthos. Lovely deep pink flowers slightly variable. Height 45cm. Flowering time April-May.
