Sprekelia (Amaryllidaceae) formoisissima. Also know as 'The Jacobean lily'.

Native of Mexico and Guatemala, and though called Aztec Lili sometimes.

Excellent pot plant that should be treated like a Hippeastrum.

Flowering time: June -July.

Height: 25-40cm.
