This shade-loving perennial produces sweetly scented plumes of creamy white blossoms, followed by yellowish-green berries that turn to deep moroon.
Smilacina racemosa.AGM.(Synonyms: Maianthemum racemosum), aka 'Solomon's plume'.
Native to woodlands of North America and Mexico,contains about 25 species, from Asparagaceae family, but often know as belonging to the family Liliaceae.
Fully hardy woodland plant grow in peat, humus rich soil.
Flowering time: April –May.
Height: 60-90cm
