Urginea maritima

Star shaped white flowers on a long spike. 

Native for N. Africa and not strictly hardy this uncommon bulbs needs a warm, sunny spot with well drained, sandy soil to produce its flower spikes. Can be grown successfully in the greenhouse or conservatory in less mild areas.

Flowering: Aug-Sept.

Height: 100-150cm.
